Quentin Fong is Seafood Market Specialist for the Alaska Sea Grant Marine Advisory Program (MAP) and the Department of Fisheries, University of Alaska Fairbanks. As an educator Quentin conduct seafood business and marketing workshops, one-on-one consultations with stakeholders on strategic marketing and business management strategies, and partners with industry to conduct applied seafood related market and economic feasibility research. He also teaches two undergraduate courses in Seafood Business and Seafood Utilization, and advises graduate students when opportunity arises. Fong worked in the seafood and commercial diving industry for 23 years prior to joining the university.
